In line with the vision and the mission of association, our main objective is to strengthen the network among related agencies to increase the national nutritional status, especially for mother and child.
Our strategic targets are:
Committed to assist government to overcome malnutrition problem among mother and child.
Committed to produce and/or provide nutritious products for mother and child which are comply with international and national standard.
Committed to actively participate in the integrated program in order to succeed the exclusive breastfeeding program by complying with international code of marketing of breast milk substitutes and existing government regulation with carry out the internal monitoring.
Strengthen the APPNIA organization and structure in order to achieve the association credibility and dynamism.
In order to achieve the targets, we formulate the strategic programs as well as the action plans as follow:
Strengthening organization
We actively develop good network with government and other stakeholders by holding courtesy calls with Ministry of Health, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Agriculture, BOPM as well as professional organization such as IDAI, IBI, Persagi, Pergizi Pangan and Universities.
Product Improvement on Quality, Nutrition and Food Safety
We support Ministry of Health in developing nutritious product through seminars on product quality, health and nutrition as well as food safety.
Support on Implementation of Exclusive Breastfeeding
We conduct a sustainable internal monitoring system to ensure the implementation of WHO Code and prevailing national regulations (Government Regulation No. 33 year 2012 and Ministr of Health Decree No. 39 year 2013) on marketing of infant formula.
Alleviation of Nutritional Problems of Mother and Children
